ABOUT
Angelynne (Ajay) Pawaan is an actor, director, and creator with her MFA in Acting at The Old Globe and University of San Diego Shiley Graduate Theatre Program. She also holds Bachelor degrees in Cognitive Science and Theatre from UC San Diego.
In Fall 2025, she became one of only twelve actors selected for the highly competitive NBCUniversal Launch Diversity Showcase with East West Players, a program dedicated to amplifying emerging AAPI talent in television and film.
One of her most cherished skills is being able to impersonate a 2000 Britney Spears, but she also dedicates her time to deepening her yoga and martial arts practices. She often daydreams about becoming the next catwoman when she deadlifts…
When she’s not performing, you may be able to find her at shore during sunset or struggling to walk her ENTP terrier mutt, Hopia. Her favorite pastimes include but are not limited to: shopping at World Market, scalp massages, and reverse parking into spaces (not necessarily in that order).
